The Coosada Police Department’s goal is to safeguard and improve the quality of life of those we serve. It is our primary purpose is to maintain a secure environment with equal protection under the law for all of our citizens.

The Town of Coosada is seeking officers with the minimum qualifications which include APOST Certification, possession of a valid Alabama driver’s license, and a current law enforcement officer with 2 years of experience. You can request a meeting with the Chief of Police if you do not currently have APOST Certification.

The Coosada Volunteer Fire Department meets regularly during the month with our dedicated team of volunteer firefighters. The Coosada Fire Station was established years ago to provide services to families, businesses, community organizations and tourist. Open burning of any kind is prohibited inside the Town limits.
